Excellent lunch!! We came here when it opened and within ten minutes the whole place was filled with locals which is always a good sign. The octopus is a must try!! Also the desserts are wonderful!

Had a lunch here while exploring the west side of island. It was rainy day and we had soup and shared a plate of octopus. Service was good and fast. Small local place with straight forward attitude. Fulfilled our stomachs and expectations.

While touring western Sao Miguel, we stopped in Mosteiros, a cute little town and went here for lunch, narrowly beating out two other couples headed for the same destination. Found the place quite busy with lots of locals. The food was simple but really good, especially the seafood: grilled mussels (yum) and lots of classic Azorean option. The room is not fancy, but the food is delicious and the service is family-style friendly. A really good option for lunch on-the-go.
