Crab Shack In Morton

It looks like we have a new owner . The chef cooked a wonderful steak just the way I like it. It was quite, and the wait staff was great. I love that there is a place locally to get a good steak and a peaceful , comfortably environment to enjoy it

Pretty new place. Bigger inside than I thought. Have kareoke' every Wednesday night. Got to work on their food, though. Portions good. Chicken good, just a tad overcooked. Warrants another visit. Probably go back for Kareoke'. Nice crowd that night!

We came here for my mother 's birthday and my sister had a Groupon. This place opens at 4, or at least on Tuesday, and we were a bit shocked the place did not look like the pictures on Google Maps. However, I did upload some photos to give an honest perspective of the business, but I could be mistaken: a special event could have been held here. Continuing, our experience was horrible. It seemed as if they were ill prepared to be serving food. Still we received our food fast, but it was not great. My bacon burger had cheese, which I distinctly said to remove, my sister and my mom 's platters included corn on the cobb, which was frozen, my mother 's crabs were slimy, , and my sister had a platter that included flounder, but they gave her tilapia. Additionally, the waitress was awful, she seemed very peeved, which evaporated her professionalism. The bartender was an excellent host: he apologized, seemed genuinely concerned, and carried himself professionally. His approach was superb, hip hip hooray to you sir! Lastly, the owner must have been having a stressed day because his demeanor shifted from mild mannered to prickly. He picked up my sisters corn with his hand, you never do that to a customer. So sadly, we were underwhelmed by this establishment. Maybe it was a bad day or maybe this is typical; other customers were irritated with their food as well. Whatever the case: NEVER GO HERE ON TUESDAY, ESPECIALLY IF THEY JUST OPENED. Sorry not sorry, the service industry has a high standard and if you serve food, even in a bar, expect people to have high expectancy. Peace and Blessings,

The atmosphere is great, the live music and comedy shows they do are great. The pool table is fun! The food is not great. A good place for some drinks and some good times though!!!!
