Top Dog Coffee - Morro Bay

Adorable coffee/breakfast/lunch spot. Great coffee and great staff. We will be back for food!!

Nice breakfast place! We ordered cappuccinos, everything bagel, and turkey croissant all food was great and tasty!

Cozy, pet-oriented cafe with a good selection of teas, coffees, smoothies, alcoholic drinks, and foods. I thoroughly enjoyed the peach, pear, apricot smoothie after a long hike just outside of town.

I have been coming here for years and always love the atmosphere and the selection of menu items. My only complaint is the service is very slow even when there are not that many customers. Slow even if only a bagel and drip coffee is ordered. Another reason that has kept me coming back is I love that the owner is in to rescuing animals. But what I noticed there is an advertisement in the window for Pit Bull puppies for sale. I can't imagine that the owner is aware of this. Especially since this coffee shop is all about rescues. Overall I do love this place you can't beat the menu items that are offered.

Love the place HOWEVER they’ve missed the mark on ambience musically. They have a peaceful outdoor setting where people are lightly conversing and/or studying and oddly have chosen to play 80s pop music which, as much as I love the genre, is inappropriate for such a setting.
