Bidra med feedbackA very beautiful place for some sushi! Service is so sweet and friendly, the atmosphere is hard to describe, everything I can say, I'm a big fan of it. This is the kind of place where I would get celebrities and food, I would recommend it as such: consider the prices and portion sizes! It's still worth a try though! Located in a lot nearby, the walk is in no case anger. The road in which it is located is picturesque and bright at night, so this place also has views!
Sushi was super fresh! Lots of vegan options. Miso soup was excellent. Our server Morgan was super sweet and helpful with questions we had about the menu!
We were excited to try dining at the new location after exclusively getting take-out from the original location that was shared with Pretty Bird. The sushi is top notch and the design of the new dining room is visually appealing. However, the overall experience was marred by a number of factors. Generally speaking, I would say the space is lacking warmth, literally and figuratively. It was quite chilly in the dining room and we overheard a number of other guests saying the same thing. Sound bounced off all the hard surfaces, such that normal conversations or the movement of a chair seemed harsh. Music playing over the speakers was some kind of dance-pop style that seemed out of place. Servers were dressed very casually, which might seem petty, but you can tell who a server is next door at the Vault, but it was hard to distinguish who was an employee at Kawaii Tori. All of these things are minor on their own, but add up to an experience that was disappointing. We still love the quality of the sushi, which is the main reason I am still giving this review 4-stars, but we'll probably stick to take-out unless we have reason to think that the overall experience has improved.
Had dinner at 6:30 on a Thursday and wasn't too crowded in there and parking was really easy which is awesome in Yardley! The food was excellent and didn't have to wait long. Everything was seasoned really well and the textures were spot on. Really loved the white fish in the volcano roll I had. There was definitely a lot going on in the volcano roll and spicy tuna fried rice but it was darn good. The staff is very friendly, especially our waitress. The restaurant is clean with tasteful modern decor. I literally only knocked off a star because they didn't have any desserts which is kind of a bummer but perhaps that's something that they will add in the future. If they do I'd probably change this to 5 stars. The wine selection is awesome as well. Really enjoyed the allegro cabernet franc.
Kawaii Tori is our sushi go-to. The new space is great, with a lively atmosphere (not as quiet as it used to be but that?s okay! . Food was delicious as always, great quality and presentation. Spring Rolls and Veggie Dumpling appetizers were dynamite, our first time trying those. Food did take a while longer to come out, but understand they are now operating at about triple the capacity as before?..BE PATIENT! It?s worth the wait. Owner is very hands-on, speaking to all guests dining in, filling waters, setting tables, etc?
