Bidra med feedbackDelicious raclette, huge portions friendly host definitely recommend
This place is a disaster. You are made to wait a very long time, around 1 hour. The table for the 2nd service is not ready. ' 'The placemats are dirty but it doesn 't matter; we turn them over and it 's magical on the other side it 's clean ' ' no cutlery we eat with our fingers for fondues, the cold cuts are good but we are only allowed one slice per person no more and if we ask for it extra. It 's too expensive for the time we spend waiting and the result on the plate.
Tasteless dishes, a small plate of charcuterie for a raclette for 3 people and a custard for dessert that was certainly out of date. Waitress without reactions or questioning after we expressed our dissatisfaction. To avoid !
Great friendly staff and in nice homely environment! Loved the food and great wine! Have been here a few times and love to come back
It was our first night in Morillion and we were looking for a restaurant for dinner. Most were booked for the evening and we happened upon Le Grenier and discovered they could accommodate us three for dinner. We ordered 6 escargot to start my husband ordered the Tartiflette. I orded the Tartichevre and as they were out of souris d'agneau, my son ordered the hamburger. To start with the escargot arrived all six of them on a tray designed for 12 they looked embarassed to be there. To put it mildly they were not the best. I would liken the experience of eating them to chewing on an eraser. I dont believe you should ever cook escargot in a microwave. This was just the beginning of the horrors to come. The Tartiflette ..... melted cheese on a bed of evenly diced potatoes a bowl of assorted lettuce leaves to the side. The dressing largely an afterthought. The Tartichevre ....less melted cheese on diced potatoes with 5 or 6 slices of supermarket goat cheese not attractively cut and not tasty accompanied by similarly dismal salad. The Hamburger looked like the ones you can buy in the supermarket frozen bun and all ...was accompanied by hastily microwaved French fries. The fact that we ate this food had more to do with our level of hunger rather than our delight at the chefs culinary skills. Needless to say we passed on dessert paid what we thought was an exorbitant amount for the meals and left largely disappointed.
