We have just returned home after a fantastic few days at The Horse and Groom.

Really lovely sunday lunch; wonderful service; good drinks menu and an excellent roast beef!

We had been here for dinner before but visited for Sunday lunch for the first time. What a fabulous experience. Superb food, great atmosphere, attentive service and friendly staff. The strip loin of beef was out of this world. Cooked rare you can ask for it cooked a little more) , really tender and tasty. The half chicken really is half a chicken. All accompanied with lashings of delicious gravy and veg. The place was busy and you could tell everyone was really happy. It’s also dog friendly which is a big bonus for us. Highly recommend and we will be back when we’re next in the area.

Was good years ago, went down hill, but now back to a good standard. Food and service outstanding.
