Sizzler - Moreton Bay

I always enjoy the food at this restaurant, but the only downside is that it can get very busy. Sometimes, you may have to wait for a table, but the staff does their best to accommodate everyone. The potato bake can be a bit bland, but overall the food is lovely with fresh salads and fruits.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! It was nothing like my childhood memories of Sizzler. The venue was modern and nice, and the salad bar was large. For $27, you could eat as much as you wanted from the salad bar, which included two pasta dishes. The pumpkin soup was good and there was a wide variety of hot and cold salads. The complimentary cheesy toast was delicious. The sticky date pudding was great, but the mousse was a bit bland. The only issue was with the taco station - the guacamole looked too similar to the sour cream, and there was a lack of salsa and vegetarian options (only mince available). My friend's steak was tough and expensive, but they replaced it with a better one and gave us a gift voucher for next time, which was excellent customer service. Overall, we left feeling full and satisfied, and the wine was cheap as well.

So sad to see this iconic restaurant close. A lesson to us all if you don't use it you will lose it! A sign that we all need to get out and support each other more. An end of an era the last Sizzler left ever. We order the shrimp fry and two salad bars. Due to covid, all meals were delivered to our table. All staff was very friendly and we're more than accommodation to some of our weird food requests. All food was delicious. Cheese bread and potato wedge so good. You will be missed. Thanks for the memories. Wonderful lunch date.
