Bidra med feedbackFast Service. I tried this Filipino Restaurant last week. I'm glad that there is a dine in Philippine Restaurant that it's actually presentable. I ordered their lunch special for $5.95! I couldn't believe it and it came with refillable soda. I have been back 3 more times after that. I took the family over the weekend to have a nice family dinner and it was well worth the trip. We really enjoyed the food and the service. I look forward to many more years of good food with this restaurant. Thanks P.I. Grill!
I absolutely love this place. <br/ <br/ Service is great. Food is amazing. <br/ My favorites: bistek with garlic fried rice and Bulalo (beef soup) and I top it all off with a mango juice. So delicious. <br/ <br/ When I'm feeling fancy I order the fried calamari. Dip it in vinegar. Ahhhh, life's good.
Unappealing interior color-scheme, but good food.. So this restaurant actually moved from one shopping center to a different one further west on Alessandro Blvd. a month or so ago.<br/ <br/ The parking lot is somewhat cramped since they are now located near opened businesses.<br/ <br/ The interior was nice and clean, but I was not feeling it on the color scheme. Dark brown floors and orange walls...<br/ <br/ I thought I had reviewed the previous location, but apparently not. This restaurant used to be 'cafeteria-styled ' with pre-made dishes set in warmers behind a plexiglass window, but now they are an actual cook to order establishment. I kind of miss being able to see what I am ordering, but it is not that bad.<br/ <br/ The cashiers/servers are very nice and social. While I was waiting for my food I watched them converse with their dine-in customers and describe what some of the menu items were whenever a customer was not sure what the item was. I had no issues with any of the employees there.<br/ <br/ I ordered a ton of items to-go since I wanted to try out their new dishes. I ordered the following: lumpiyáng prito (I think it is listed as 'vegetable lumpia. ' , grilled eggplant, adobo sliders, and pinakbet. I waited about 30-40 minutes for it all.<br/ <br/ I wish I had remembered to take pictures of everything, but I was starving that day.<br/ <br/ I thought everything was pretty good. My roommate liked the adobo sliders and I loved the cucumber dip that came with it. I did not care for the white vinegar(? that came with the lumpia, but the lumpia was good. I thought the pinakbet was delicious, but I wish there was less bitter melon and more squash. (I also had no idea you could cook any gourd vegetables long enough for the hard 'shell ' to become edible. All this time I have been living a lie [and hurting my hand trying to slam a knife through a squash]! The grilled eggplant was alright. You have to pull off the burnt skin unless you like the taste of it.
Better Location for this Filipino Restaurant. P.I. Grill was previously located in a run-down plaza near Alessandro and Perris Blvd. that seemed to be losing tenants one after the other. The appearance of that plaza was one of the reasons that I never stopped to try the place. P.I. Grill is currently in new digs at Southpointe Plaza at the corner of Alessandro and Heacock and this location is much better. I have stopped in three times recently and feel pretty good about this place. P.I. Grill is definitely worth trying. I have tried the Pancit with Egg Rolls and the Asado Wings appetizer. Both have been good. Worthwhile in Moreno Valley.
Fast friendly service, great authentic dishes, will be my new go to Filipino craving spot! Can't wait to taste everything on the menu!
