Bidra med feedbackWe were recommended this restaurant in our hotel. it was empty no local or traveling. we asked about the menu and were told that it was only huh. when we said we did not eat meat, the owner offered cheese soidillas, which were served with beans and rice delicious and freshly cooked.
Our friends and we ate at two nights in this restaurant in the heart of angangueo. there is a set menu every night with just a few choices, but we were both happy. we had a choice of three different chickens the first...night they were all excellent, but the guave was the winner. in the second night, most of us had the cortexerarrachera, which was beautifully spiced. both nights we started with a huge mocajet of guacamole and chips that we could not finish at night! the price was around $25 for the four of us including drinks. so much better than our hotel restaurant!
This was an amazing discovery that none of the employees speak English, but fortunately the 2 Californian surfers on the next table did “the Guacamole” they said and helped us order. I had a baked chicken (pollo) with side stacks. my wife had a chicken soup we both couldn't finish. have I mentioned the tortillas? they just brought food, I had a local beer and the bill was $200 pesos about $15. In the past, I noticed that the place was well visited by locals, a good sign.
Enjoy their lunchtime after watching the monarchs in los arcos. senora paty cooks every day Mexican food and do not hesitate to ask her guacamole to extra cost. they will not be disappointed!
(correct name in referral form) The ladies that run Los Arcos make a great lunch and an amazing guacamole. Every day there is a different Manu depending upon what they have and for the two days we ate there we enjoyed everything we ate and...drank.
