Coolaroo Hotel - Moreland

This is my second time staying at this place for work. The accommodation is excellent, clean, and comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise. The bistro offers delicious meals.

This is a fantastic spot for an overnight stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything is in working order, which is always a plus. Check-in was quick and easy, and you also receive a wonderful breakfast package.

Had a half decent beer on tap, but that was about it. Nothing really stood out, Just a typical local pub that I would prefer to avoid.

Had 19 family members for Xmas Day Lunch everything was perfect food was great,staff very friendly and attentive

To be honest, the atmosphere and the restaurant decoration are quite pleasant. this was, however, a business dinner that was an unforgettable lunch for all wrong reasons. the meals were far below standard for this seemingly popular venue. 2 x Thai bark salads were on, tasteless, gurke was soggy, and could neither see chili nor coriander or taste. no idea how the bark was cooked, it was similar to the pinned bark, almost as it was cooked!. and it was also dishonestly tasteless an add-on funnel of garnels was good and really over boiled and hard and chew. a order of entree size calamari was placed wrong in the computer as full operation, a fault openly approved by the employee, but we were asked to pay the difference! Apparently the parmigiana ‘just ok’ was just like the calamari. I'm sorry to say would not recommend, and also not back.
