Ristorante Bar Pizzeria Quattro Sorelle

Sadly we visited this restaurant on it's last day in business. Having popped in for a beer the previous evening we decided to return for a meal. We were informed that it was their last day trading. Shame as the food was okay and it was handy for the railway station, the airport bus and our hotel.

Average restaurant/pizzeria. Quiet place. Also ideal for business meetings. Very close to the bus and train station and 5 minutes to the highway.

We ordered the gnocchi pesto- and lamb chops. lambs were requested medium, but came well done, but they were good. also the pesto gnocchi was good, but he had as ceremonious in them. first one thought it was haare, but later recognizing it was not just a decent herb. service was good, but English was hard to come for the next dishes. the place can easily be missed, but it is up and the sign says 4sorelle.

Excellent place to eat when they arrive with the train or near the train station in lugano. the restaurant is located on the wrong side of the railroads and is usually visited by locals. we had 3 dishes here calfcake with risotto, porcini risotto and gnocci monti i mare. all meals were excellent, unforgettable experiences. veal was medium and extremely juicy, gnocci had the right amount of heat and porcinis were sprinkled in the risotto. the attention of the chef on every detail of the meal was almost maniacal. Italian eating was so great, we couldn't try any Turkish menus the prices were extremely reasonable, especially according to Swiss standards. service was very friendly and fast. in the city stayed 2 days, but the place was so good, both had to go there nights. you will be crazy not to visit
