Had another fantastic meal at this amazing restaurant. Once again, the staff were friendly and efficient, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Kudos to everyone involved, and thank you once more.
This was my first time at the Cluny Bank Hotel 's restaurant. It will not be my last. This was a fine dining experience, in the setting of beautifully maintained 'front room ' of a large Victorian house. I loved the curved windows and decorative cornices. Lloyd, owner and chef, is worth a mention on his own. This guy not only can produce dishes which look and taste exemplary, but also thoroughly enjoys his guests. He was charming, funny, full of anecdotes and soon had the diners chatting and swapping stories. It was a great evening in every way.
My family and I went to Franklin’s for a delayed 50th celebratory meal; the service was friendly and attentive, while the food was gorgeous. I had pigeon followed by venison and then a dark chocolate ganache. The meal started with two aperitifs, bread with salsa and olives, then a chicken and vegetable soup taster with balsamic vinegar and bread.
Great night with wonderful food and service. We could not fault a thing every course was delicious and beautifully presented. Thank you team.
