Bidra med feedbackThis hotel was very nice! I had seen some bad reviews on TripAdvisor and was skeptical. I found the room large, clean, and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast area was clean, and had a good selection. Overall, I was impressed.Safety: It is in a well lit busy area.Food drinks: There is a hot breakfast in the hotel. In general, I am a fan of the Mariott brand,. I can get a good night's sleepBut when the shower does not work it is too much for me.For $171 you really might want to look elsewhere.
1 star is for the view from the window! Very nice....but.......THE HOTEL LOBBY SMELLED LIKE MOLD ..AND THE ROOM WAS DIRTY. THE RUGS ARE STAINED, AND THE BAGELS WERE OLD! THE PHONE DIDN'T WORK..I HAD TO GET MOVED TO ANOTHER ROOM BECAUSE OF THE DISGUSTING SOFA BED MATTRESS AND SOFA. THANK GOD, THE SOFA MATTRESS DIDN'T HAVE A SHEET OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE NEVER SEEN THE GROSS CONDITION OF THE MATTRESS...PLEASE SEE PICS......I COMPLAINED TO THE FRONT DESK .. they did change our room, but the second room air sucked ...also, the door didn't close unless you PUSHED it closed...in addition hotel was so crowded...we had to park along the road .OHHH and the shower door didnt seal shut..there was water everywhere!!!!..couldnt wait to check out...i stayed because everyone else was solid booked...This was COLLEGE MOVE IN WEEKEND.....so with all the emotions I was already feeling...i checked in and had to deal with this disgusting place and POORRRR customer service...the Manager didnt even show face.....instead had to deal with a young chic...who obviously was annoyed each time I had to go downstairs bc BOTH room phones didnt work....after checkout.....I ..CALLED EXPEDIA...THE HOTEL REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY..I ACTUALLY HAD A FUTURE RESERVATION FOR SEPTEMBER BUT I CANCELED..I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN..The garbage bin pic was at 650am!! Breakfast starts at 630am ...guess no one is available to clean!!!#neveragain This can't be Marriott. Shame on u!!!
I’m going to start off with front desk lady. She was not so friendly and a bit rude. I felt more of recist. Our rooms were ok but bed was way too soft and it gave us terrible back pain. The elevator sucked it was so slow and not cleaned. Lastly i was highly disappointed with breakfast they didnt not put out cream-cheese for bagels no butter for breads. Did not refill any of the cereals, plates or bowls. All the people were just standing disappointed and kept asking to refill whatever it needes but unfortunately it never got done. It was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in.
Here is my review from my most recent stay at the SpringHill in Scranton Montage Mountain. Let's begin with the condition of the elevator. As you can see from the attached picture, in my opinion, the hotel has missed opportunities with their daily housekeeping of the common areas. The spill on the elevator was there when I arrived, and was still there when I left several days later. Housekeeping had trouble understanding what the do not disturb sign was there for. On the first day, they knocked, introduced themselves, and attempted to enter the room while the sign was posted. I spoke to the front desk, and they told me this would be managed. Day 2, same thing. Day 3, same thing. On day 3 three, I had scheduled myself to check out at 4pm. Nope, by 1pm, they were banging on the door trying to gain entrance.The room has you can see from the pictures, there were stains on the sofa, and several on the floor.Rooms: The one I was in needed help with cleanliness.
