Phoenix Thai Japanese - Mooresville

My go to place for all things sushi! The owner is awesome, the employees are on point, and the sushi chefs are cool and adventurous. They always like making new things with your liking in mind, and/or are interested in helping you expand your pallet. I love this place!

I absolutely love love love this place. I’ve wanted to open my variety of sushi because no one in my family likes it so I’ve had to teach myself. I went here about a year ago with my best friend and fell in love. And now that I’m engaged my fiancé and I go every Friday and sit at the bar. I’ve made great friends with the sushi chefs Justin and Gregg. Absolutely hilarious and make the experience fantastic and amazing! Definitely recommend this place even if you’re not a sushi person! They have everything on the menu to choose from!

We love coming to Phoenix. We are never disappointed. If I have a question about the menu, either the server or Owner answers my questions. The food is excellent. We ate there this past Saturday (13th). A Police Officer came in behind us for lunch. We told our server(I don't remember her name) we would like to pay for his meal. She thanked us but said she just paid it herself. We tipped her a little extra that day.

Fantastic food and fantastic service! Our server was exceptionally kind about verifying that what I ordered didn't include foods I cannot eat. I've tried a couple other hibachi places that were mediocre--Phoenix was fabulous! It has become my go-to hibachi. And the hibachi shrimp were magnificent! Succulent, not over-cooked. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Thai sweet sour duck. Thank you for a fabulous meal!

The server, Christian, was outstanding! He was very attentive and always had our drinks refilled before we were out. He ensured that we were satisfied with the quality and taste of our food. The food taste was amazing and the sushi was unbelievablly good! It's a good 40 minutes from where I live, but I'd definitely make the trip now and then for great food and service!
