Shali's Cafe - Montville

So much to choose from, and so cost effective. yummy food,service can be a loooong wait if busy. A popular cafe I have never been here and seen more than 2 tables spare.

A pot of tea for two, thimble size. Served by the most miserable waiter I've ever seen. Cheap, fatty food, disgusting.

Great breakfast this morning - and cheerful, prompt service as well. Will definitely be stopping here again.

Stumbled across this place & glad we did. Great value and delicious food. Lots of options to choose from. Spacious seating too.

The slow service could be excused by the busy Sunday lunchtime but the food was pretty poor. My companion had a steak burger and said chewing the sole of his shoe might have been more easier. I went for a veggie curry, which was reasonably spiced but the vegetables were incredibly over-cooked and it felt tired as if it had been sitting around a few days and microwaved. The papadums had absorbed moisture from the rice they were sitting on and were soggy. The chips were good and the young lad delivering food was working hard but it's difficult to recommend the place.
