Coffee Shop Of Horrors - Montverde

Cool concept the owner is super nice I really enjoyed my cold brew and the espresso chocolate muffin was amazing

I try to stop at this awesome little coffee shop any time I am even remotely close to it. While the ambiance may be a bit lacking for those who truly love horror films and culture, the Thriller (cold brew coffee ice cream) is always absolutely incredible. Can't wait to make it back to the area so I can stop in for another!

Made a special trip to visit this location was disappointed. Coffee was luke warm. Serve handled food without gloves. We stopped at a gas station after leaving threw everything out. Person working was more interested in watching moving then serving customer. Most of decor was packed in boxes, so I am not sure if this place is going out of business.

It was a rare rainy Saturday here in central Florida so we decided to go for a drive. W had heard of Montverde but had never visited. We just happened to visit on the weekend that spring break had started and this town was vacant. We saw the sign and said to ourselves we have to go in. The coffee was brilliant and the pastries as good as they get. Seating very limited and the décor odd but great for a chuckle. Plainly their target market are teenagers and young adults. Bizarre new age music was playing. Game players by the dozen. Large screen tv you control. The bathroom was disgrace. Toilet filthy, walls mostly unpainted and the tap on the sink broken and on the floor. As we left I paused to tell the single young man, running the shop, about what I saw. He looked at me and commented it was no big deal. I should have picked up the broken tap from the floor and connected it back. I told him he had to be kidding and stared at me like it was not his problem. We left but not before the client exiting the bathroom after me commented it was too filthy to use. Kind of a shame but then I noticed the few other customers were all teenage boys that probably didn't care about cleanliness.

The singe best coffee you will ever have. I am obsessed with this coffee and the costumer service is wonderful. It's so good my partner who does not like coffee at all, loves this coffee. I highly recommend the banana nut and amaretto flavors but really you can't go wrong.
