Les Grillons du Morvan

I had the 25 € set menu, great choice, flawless and delicious French cuisine. starter was two different terrines with freshly dressed salad, main pork medaillen in honey sauce with dauphinoise kartoffeln and red fruit tea flan for dessert. they would highly recommend it and define it again. if they make a vacation in this way.

A 2* hôtel that is really a 3* and much better than most of them. our room was very nicely decorated and the bathroom very nice and functional. the owners were very friendly and helped us find our way and us for our long. daily walks and discover the region advised. the restaurant was very good, quality and beautifully decorated. very flexible and try to wish their desires regarding the food they could or not eat. we spent 5 nights and felt a little bit away from home. such a hospitable and professionalism is hearty and we will be back soon!

We had lunch with the family at lunchtime. some of us fancied a steak, but when we read the menu, it was marked red that they did not well steaks (only rarely or medium) as « over boil steak ruined the integrity of the...meat » so we have ordered medium and rarely! is it not to the customers to decide how they like to eat it? the rest of the food was good, but the commentary about the steak art sets the atmosphere of the place.

We came to a late lunch and they received us with a very friendly smile. the service was fast and the food delicious at a very reasonable price. the hotel is very colorful in a picturesque quiet region not far from the sea.

This was an amazing stop. We enjoyed hot chocolate drinks made with homemade chocolate on a spoon which we dipped into a mug of hot milk. We purchased items of Fabrication artisanale de chocolat 100% pur beurre de cacao . Items made of chocolate.
