Restaurant Le Gourmandisier

We found this restaurant randomly and what a pleasure the lunch menu that had a choice of three ducks, three plate and four desserts was an unusual selection of dishes with oriental influences. I had a beetroot gazpacho with salad followed by Boulette de...viande (meatballs) and cousin the mixture of flavors was delicious. My partner had croustade de chèvre followed by Filet de poisson with rice flavoured in a delicate sauce with spices all accompanied by a Carafe by Rose de Loire The service was impeccable and friendly and we will definitely return as this restaurant offers an unusual menu for this part of France

We ordered the tasting menu and it was not disappointing, all courses really good and sitting outside in the shade of the castle on a beautiful spring evening was especially good

We were the first couple in the evening for dinner at 7pm. By 7.30 the place was buzzing. We chose the 'degustation ' menu as couldn 't decide what to have from the menu choice. The 'degustation ' menu gave you a bit of everything i.e. 3 small...starter, 3 small mains and 3 small desserts. Absolutely perfect. Beautifully presented, excellent value and would absolutely return. Go and eat here!

I just discovered this restaurant, it's great, I recommend... The atmosphere of a real house, the dishes are exquisite, I'll come back on it. Thank you.
