Bidra med feedbackMontreal's latest craze is ice cream parlors, and you'll find plenty of them throughout the city. Forget about Baskin Robbins and Dairy Queen - now it's all about independent shops offering gelato, soft serve dips, and frozen yogurt with gourmet and exotic flavors. One such spot is La Dolce Vita Gelato in TMR, a fantastic gelateria, Italian café, and panini shop.
A reservation is recommended for this restaurant. However, we were fortunate that a group ahead of us graciously pushed back their reservation by 1.5 hours, allowing us to dine without one.
Amazing restaurant!! Set up in a beautiful house in TMR, the staff are super friendly and the food is great.
I personnaly went in the kitchen to thank and see the chef of my filet MignonI have never experienced such a thing before.
My wife and I Love Restaurants but see no reason to come back here. First the good news. The old stone house decor is cute and the waiters were attentive and pleasant to be around. It pretty much ends there. We both tasted each other's food and here's the rundown.Lentil potatoe soup: me, ok - my wife, boring.Carpaccio : me boring (the cheese should bea little older) and the beef was tasteless.my wife, n/a.Porcini Risotto: me and my wife, not bad.Gnocchi with meat sauce: me and my wife, sauce was good but the gnocchi was very'mushy'.Desserts: Tiramisu: (recommended by the restaurant was ok but nothing special)Carrot cake with cheese sauce: tasted likeday old dépanneur dessert and has no présentation. They may have had it together once butnot any more.
