Bidra med feedbackI had the chicken corma that was slightly spicy but very tasty. The Naanbrot was amazing and fresh. Perfect part until the end I was full. The Pakoras and Bhel Puri were also very good. The decor is absolutely beautiful! One of the best looking restaurants I saw. Huge high back pasture chairs, large wood accent walls and filled with plants. I love it! The service was ok, easy to slow. However, the girl seemed alone for the whole place and there were some people.
I tried the chicken korma which had a slight spiciness but was very delicious. The naan bread was exceptional and freshly made. I enjoyed the meal until I was full. The pakoras and bhel puri were also excellent. The decor of the restaurant is stunning! It is one of the most attractive restaurants I have seen, with large high back chairs, wooden accent walls, and lots of greenery. I really liked it! The service was okay, but a little slow. It seemed like the waitress was handling the entire place on her own with a few customers.
We ordered food from this restaurant, but unfortunately, our order was delayed by an hour and a half. The owner claimed that we live too far away (only a 15-minute drive). They promised to make it up to us by offering a discount on our next order, but when we called back to redeem it, we were told it was not possible. The staff, particularly the woman who answered the phone, were very rude. Overall, the food was not worth the hassle.
We decided to dine out and ordered a duck and a Biryani dish. We asked for them to be spicy. We only tried a few dishes, but they were good. We would definitely try more if we could. The staff at the restaurant were polite and accommodating.
Good idea to have tried this restaurant on a Friday at lunch, especially when we know that we do not have to go back to the office in the afternoon. Located in the Villeray district, walking on Bélanger Street is like being in the tropics...only a few blocks away. You can find restaurants, cafes and terraces with Latin colors. The restaurant we visited, interferes in the middle of all this warmth and good humor by offering a Punjab, Indian cuisine. We were warmly welcomed and invited to sit near the window to enjoy the atmosphere on the street. For the interior, I am certain that it takes all its magnitude in the evening. To allow us to taste the different specialties of the place we were advised to try the plate TRALI either vegetarian or not. My colleague loved the vegetarian and I, for my part, was pleased by the other version. What a pleasant surprise we had when we were served the house tea, this tea has texture and color of coffee but a taste of such a good tea. Frankly a good restaurant to discover in a nice area of the city.
