Bidra med feedbackI visited this restaurant for the first time a few months ago with three friends and we were absolutely amazed. The relaxed atmosphere, excellent service from our server, and the incredible food prepared right in front of us have made this restaurant a favorite on my list. The portions are plentiful, flavorful, and served with care. It's also a BYOB establishment. What more could you want for a night of casual dining!
The food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant are all top-notch! The portions are generous, ensuring that diners will be enjoying Italian cuisine for the entire week.
The restaurant is small with only 22 seats and requires a reservation. The service is excellent and the food is top-notch with a great selection. While it is appropriately pricey, the only downside is that it can get very hot due to the kitchen.
Maybe I went off for a night? Restaurant was very hot because the AC unit didn't really work and it was hot out. The pizza they give you is great, everything is not so much. It also takes a very long time to get food (we only had starters after we had an hour and a half there.) The chef and the server are screaming each other throughout the service. While the food was just fine, the service was terrible. Don't think I'm going back, but I could give them a second chance because how good the pizza was.
Chez di Vito is a small Italian restaurant on Park Avenue. I discovered it this winter and I can only say good things about the place. We went with another couple and we all were blown away by the experience. There are only 20 seats,...so you must make a reservation a couple of weeks in advance. Luigi is the owner and chef. He is the friendliest person and works hard preparing everything freshly for the guests. The only other person working there is his wife Yolande. She takes your order and serves everyone. Together they make an amazing team. We've had Oso Boco, Eggplant Parmagiano, a pasta dish with mushrooms in a rosé sauce and a veal dish in the times we have visited. Everone of the meals were served hot and delicious. The surprise was the gigantic pizza that was served instead of the usual bread. It is served to everyone free and it is so good. He makes his own tomato sauce that is out of this world. It doesn't have cheese on it so you won't get too full on it before the main course. We started with a salad for 2 people and shared it with the other couple. Four people eating a delicious salad for two and we could not finish it all. It was huge. It could have served six. Then we had the main course and we each had plenty to take home. The dishes are really big. Water melon on the house for desert. He is giving away the food. It's a place to go with a big appetite. Lots of delicious food and a very fair price. It's bring your own wine. You can't not love it there.
