Bidra med feedbackGreat restaurant. Bring ur own vine. Food is awesome. Very good menu. Reasonable prices. And service
My family used to frequent this restaurant often. However, during my last visit in May with my parents and son, I had a terrible experience with the service. Despite this restaurant being advertised as family-friendly, I encountered low tolerance for my one-year-old child. I was even insulted and told that I had no right to complain since I didn't pay their rent. I do not recommend Au Vieux Dukuth (Marcel Laurin) branch to anyone who values family-friendly establishments. I wish there was an option to rate this restaurant 0 stars.
We dined as a family of four; the place was packed with people on this Saturday evening visit. Service was fine but at times spotty and inattentive likely because of how busy the place was. Bread basket that arrived well the best part of...it was the salted butter to flavour the tasteless bread. Food was ok in terms of portion but the side salad that comes with entrées as well as the butterflied shrimp were both flaccid and gross. The salad was way too soggy (too much dressing) and the breading on the shrimp was very soggy too. Chicken was moist and tender though. The breaded filet of fish was fine. Side dishes such as potatoes and rice were OK. Overall a mediocre experience.
I enjoy dining at Vieux Duluth because the food is consistently delicious! I usually order the chicken skewers or the fish and I love the side salad, rice, and Greek potatoes that come with it. It's a great value since you can bring your own wine and the dishes are always flavorful.
My wife wanted to go there as she went the month before with here mother and she said it was good . We'll so we went oh boy was i disappointed along with her . We had the plate of scampis wich comes with salad...and potatoes. Well the salad tasted more like a salad made the day before scampies were really small so let's just say out of the plate the potatoes were OK. This the second time I have been to this place in the past years and it will take me another years to return as the last time was not better then the first time as this restaurant tastes nothing like the other Vieux Duluth I have been to .. By the way this was on Sherbrooke Street ..
