Bidra med feedbackThere is always a long line during the weekend, but there is a reason why people are ready to wait and it moves pretty fast anyway. I love that they don't forget that people wait outside in the rain and even brought us warm cups of tea. I ordered the champi and it was delicious! I love tasting deep mushroom aromas. The friend ordered Gros Jambon and I was very tempted to break my vegetarianism to try the ham. It was fluffy and perfectly cooked. Service was beautiful and attentive. People will wait for amazing food and service.
The food is good. The place is clean. The staff is nice. The line and the waiting are long. If you've never been, it's worth the visit. But if you were in the past, the menu has not changed in years and the decor has lost its pot. It becomes more and more like a regular breakfast place. No more fancy chairs, no more beautiful carpet. Another beautiful place for a special breakfast once in a blue moon.
Finally, Regine Cafe tried to try so long, but always discouraged from the line up. I can say the line was worth it. We arrived 10 minutes before the opening of the restaurant and we did it in a few minutes. The decor, the details only beautiful. 5 star service and food. Loved the green juice shots as we sat, the generous portions and the butter croissants. The menu is somewhat smaller and differs from the usual, and this is because it focuses on quality.
I know five stars can be misleading, but I just couldn't go deeper. Cosy, beautifully decorated place, toilets that are small but efficient, waiters who never stop smiling and make sure you understand their menu, many drinks and food options to satisfy what it is that you desire... they have everything. I went there with three friends and we ordered 3 plates and 1 of their beautiful tea-like assortment of various pastries and sauces and my goodness to me, we had food to satisfy every hunger! My first, but certainly not my last time. Thank you to our waiter Patrick that you are patient and so very nice! P.S. I suggest you make a reservation.
This is the best brunch place we have ever had in Montreal. The Scottish eggs are perfect and one of its kind, and the bakery is so good. Chic croissant is highly recommended! Un peu de tout is great to share with friends! The services and environment are wonderful. The food portion is so big. We left with 25% tips because it really exceeded our expectations, and guess what, with four people, it still turned out to be cheaper than Toronto downtown typical brunch. Will come back for sure!
