Pizzeria Magpie - Montréal

First time at Pizzeria Magpie. I found it on my Maps app on my phone. The girls and I were going to an escape room called Find The Key just 3 minutes walk down the road and wanted a nice restaurant to dine at afterwards and what a pleasant surprise it was to find Pizzeria Magpie. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. Even the ceilings and light fixtures were given a artsy touch. The menu is small but has very creative choices. Try the cocktail with the word “Princess” in it. It was tasty. Oh they have a nice Organic white wine too. Very nice. I thought a CD of piano music was playing but it sounded too real, and then I noticed a young man beside the bar playing piano. It was a very nice touch. The service is warm and friendly too. The next day, I found Pizzeria Magpie on the front page of my local Gazette paper, praising the new restaurant. They definitely deserve the praise. Pizzeria Magpie is a wonderfully cozy place, you won’t be disappointed.

Ambient noise was really a problem. It's hard to get along, rather annoying for a business meeting with a client we're meeting for the first time.

Everything was perfect with the exception of the entrance service (salads) we would have preferred to receive before the main meal. The entrances were served at the same time as the main meal. Otherwise, everything was impeccable. Your pizzas are always a feast for the palace!

Fantastic pizza, last time I had such a good pizza, I was in the toscana.

As always we had a delicious meal. Tasty PEI oysters, and some unique pizzas. The pizza of the day with celery root bechamel was a lovely twist.
