Bidra med feedbackIt was very busy with a beautiful ambiente when we arrived, eating looked great and we starved a lot of time to visit our concert next door at the corona theatre. we were placed in the far rear corner of the restaurant that I thought for a good placement. I was wrong! the waiter arrived in time. we order drinks and told him to come back and take our food order, as we were not ready to order. he came back to take over our command. vege Burger/Salad and regular burgers with sweet potatoes. and then we waited....and waited....saw other customers are served who come after us and go....still no eating. an hour goes by, we fled our poor to make the waiter not aware of any case. I finally say to my friend, we don't even have time to eat before the concert. I stand up and finally the waiter comes by. I tell him politely, hear them, we've been waiting here for an hour and no one has served us our food! he seemed surprised and was like oh, that hardly ever happened! He apologized and said I could get the machine so you can pay for your drinks. that should never have happened. an apology is a thing, but must pay for the drinks after they have been treated like that. inattentive! I will never go back!
We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night before a concert and were impressed with the excellent service. Our waiter was efficient and friendly, despite being quite busy. The food was decent in terms of quality for the price, with our burgers being good but not outstanding. The menu had a good selection of vegetarian options, which was a bonus for me, even though I am not a vegetarian myself. Overall, it was a fun restaurant to visit, especially during happy hour when the drinks are a good value. We recommend stopping by for a visit!
Stopped in front of a concert in the corona theatre next door (big venue and liz phair! faster and attentive service and great poutine and hamburger and chips and sangria jug what is not recommended for our needs? if this is what they are...after:
We decided to ask for a selection of dressed to share with some pitchers of their special cocktails. there were sliders, fried pickles, nachos, etc. the service was slow. the food was good. overall: a little expensive.
My husband and I and another couple visited Montreal and found this place on instagram... specifically we were looking to try their awesome looking **** Mary’s. Well the **** Mary itself wasn’t bad, however the food that came topping the drinks was the worst form...of “fast food.” We don’t believe any of it was actually made in house but rather arrived frozen, prepackaged, and only required microwaving. We ordered poutine as well and everything took about 40 minutes to come out, and when it did it was luke warm. My friend was missing a jalapeño popper from her drink, to which the server replied that it was coming right out (instead of admitting to forgetting it). It also arrived with cold and hot spots inside, like when something isn’t fully or properly microwaved. Considering parking is limited and we were staying in the downtown area, we walked here (a good 25 min walk)... overall not worth the trek for some photo-op **** Mary’s. Oh and the server lady was rude as well, acted very impatient with our table. She should go take lessons from Tony over at Weinstein and Gavino’s!
