La Sala Rossa - Montréal

Later in the evening there was a show on the upper level, so while we eat, they did the soundcheck. we couldn't talk and the walls trembled. also I haven't been there for a few years, but the menu is not as good as it was. fried calamari were good.

First came with my father every summer in our trips to montreal and have made a point, every new person I can get into it! Just eat wonderful, they love the sangria, and will continue to come back!

Disappointed: this was what I used as a neighboring institution for large Spanish tapas, and use to eat full of people at the arrival and weeping. I should have known that something is up when we were the only table in the restaurant. it's not what it was before. so sad.

As a visitor in montreal we enjoyed this place very much as it is clearly a local, popular, friendly service, full life and during our meal, borrowed flamenco music from a private function in the main room. eat and drink well and prices ok. not fancy, but at home.

Our expectations were a little higher. Visitor guides showed Thursday night flamenco dancing. We thought there would be more action.
