La Rotonda - Montréal

We ordered 14 dishes: (1) steak, mushroom, and onion sub and (2) the special Margarita pizza. The food was delicious, especially the thin pizza crust shown in the picture. We enjoyed our meal by candlelight since there was no power.

No need to go looking far for fantastic pizza, pasta, salads, wraps etc. This jewel was opened a few weeks ago and the food is great! And an additional bonus, it is a bring your own wine! Many parking spaces are available and a casual atmosphere to sit...back, relax, swallow your favorite wine and have a good meal. The staff is friendly and happy. Thanks Justine for the care of the 7 of us with a warm smile. And thanks to Ray, I always make my pizza exactly the way I love it, and for my wife's chicken salad. Whenever she ordered a chicken salad from another place, she always says It's not as good as Ray 's.

The menu has been changed at this restaurant. The one listed on their website is for takeout only, but this is not clearly stated. They should update their website to include both types of menus. I mentioned this to the waitress, but she didn't seem interested. The prices have increased since my last visit. The restaurant was packed during my first visit, but this time there were many empty tables. Overall, the pizzas were good and you can bring your own wine or beer. However, the waiting time for our food was excessively long - about an hour. This was also the case during my first visit. Because of the long wait times and high prices, I don't think I will be returning. This sentiment was shared by my group of 15.

I highly recommend Ray's Pizza as a great family restaurant. The salads, wraps, and pasta are all delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. I suggest visiting this neighborhood restaurant - you won't be disappointed! Don't forget to try their selection of wine or beer, it's a great addition to the meal. Overall, a fantastic dining experience at Ray's Pizza!
