La Capital Tacos - Montréal

These are probably the best tacos I've had in a long time. The service is also very quick. The server we had that day seemed a little irritated, but it didn't detract from the amazing tacos.

I really wanted to like this place but I was disappointed on all fronts. First, the service felt extremely rushed. Our appetizers were brought out at the same time as our mains as if the waiters wanted to get rid of us asap. Second, the food was extremely underwhelming. Nothing special at all. The guac was probably the best part of our meal.Overall, would probably not come back.

Highly recommend. The birria tacos was tasty and well seasoned but I find it a bit on the fatty side. The papas con veneno was an impressive appetizer. Second visit I ordered Quesadilla Campechana, home made tortilla with grilled ribeye, cheese, onions, cilantro and jalapeno sauce on the side, simply WOW, full of exploding flavours. The atmosphere and service is A1.

Absolutely amazing food! Don’t skip dessert! The tres leches was amazing.

My friend and i had a 3 course meal, it was so good. we even took dessert at the end (their tres leches cake is soo good). service was good and it was pouring outside. we came at 5:03pm and there was already lots of people.
