Icehouse - Montréal

It was a total disappointment...The chicken was overcooked, burned i would say and surprisingly undercooked from inside it was all blood...The shrimps did not have the sea taste, it tasted weird..The fries were ok...I would never go again...I don't know maybe I was unlucky!

I rarely ever complain about restaurants and am usually very easy to please, but I was extremely disappointed after dining here. I felt like I was ripped off after ordering the shrimp po'boy, which turned out to be similar to a McChicken in terms of size, appearance, taste, and even the way it was wrapped. The price of $14 was excessive considering it didn't come with any side dish. My friends who ordered the burrito were slightly more satisfied, but overall, I was not impressed.

I flew into Montreal from California and was pleasantly surprised to find amazing BBQ and Mexican food. The ribs were so tender that they fell off the bone, and the tacos shells were the best I've had in a long time. This coming from someone from California is high praise!

I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs. This Mexican food establishment falls far short of even average quality. I visited twice with friends and found the food to be very dry and lacking in flavor. Despite attempting to be inventive, the dishes fell flat. Appetizers were small portions for the price, and the burritos were filled with dry meat and tough fries. While the service was adequate, it did not make up for the poor quality of the food.

Fried chicken is a VERY large portion. Server should prevent me it's not for one person. Drink was okay. I was surprise how this restaurent look very popular,
