Bidra med feedbackHidden gen in Mtl ! The menu has a large variety of soups, Japanese salads, Nigiri, Bento’s . Top notch quality, really enjoyed our diner. Probably one of the best Japanese restaurant in Montreal.
Authentic Japanese food, from Chirashi to Bluefin Tuna Torro sushi and sashimi. As well as exceptionally good okonomiyaki and tempura Special Bento is also amazing. If you want to upgrade your Sushi tastes I highly recommend this place, definitely do not skip in lieu of some fusion cuisine!! if you were wondering where to get blue fin tuna wonder non more this is actual legit place in the menus they present you with all kinds of cuts of tuna and for $30 you can get an melange of blue fin tuna and some torro sashimi or otherwise best place to each Japanese authentic cuisine
Went to dinner here for the first time during the hottest day during the mini heat wave. what a beautiful and total oasis!!!! calm music, private booths filled with cute things and lovely art, served by such friendly people .. portions are good for 2 the grilled mackarel was amazing value . we left stuffed and like high from all the food AND the warm and welcoming aura . thank you for the wonderful experience
Celebrated my dad 's birthday here. Don 't let the unassuming exterior fool you! Pros: Website was nicely done; making it easy to choose what to order in advance Superb decor; makes you feel that you 're in Japan; There 's even a cute mini-store at the front selling Japanese goods and handicrafts Cool dining booths , making for a more intimate dining experience Eclectic menu selection consisting of both Japanese and Korean preparation, including some fixed menu sets for those not sure what to order Fresh...everything! sashimi preparations and takoyaki (octopus balls) are the best I 've had in Montreal Super friendly waitress/owner, who 's more than willing to take the time to explain the menu, the history of the restaurant, anything you wanted to know about Japan, etc. Cons: Maki rolls weren 't too impressive (considering the quality of everything else); You could do better from nearby take-out restos (e.g. Shushu) Prices are relatively more expensive than elsewhere; Limited seating; I would suggest reserving in advance to be safe I would definitely consider coming back for dine-in with some friends and/or to celebrate special occasions.
My favourite Japanese restaurant in Montreal, and i would argue you can find anything more quaint and traditional than Karin. my favourite spot for special occasions, I recommend you get their chef special for 2, I believe is of good value for the portions and servings you’re getting. Great quality fish. amazing service, and the ambiance of the restaurant is always nice. NATSU is my favourite chef special!
