Bidra med feedbackThis place is a must every time I go to montreal. it was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm now telling everyone to keep on this place.
A three-hour waiting period from beginning to end. I know that Mother's Day is a busy day for rest in most cities in North America. my son had a 13-seat reservation at el zaziummm for mothers day a few days before, so...figure the staff should have been on the ball for our 6:30 reservation. but unfortunately, the kitchen staff seemed to be under staff to get our commands out. good that I ordered a few starters because the main course came out 1 1/2 hours later. Maybe the owner/ manager could offer us a few bowls chips and salsa to help the guests to pass the time. but...no after complaining. came out eating. eating was okay, but waiting for such a long time, I think we could ate everything. there were no apologies given by the personal and no discounts. a guess even told me that after complaining to the manager said the manager « good if you don’t get happy..just don’t come back ». it’s sad to know that some restos in montreal by the way. montreal is for the next 5 years in construction,) and this business is so hard that they can still treat their paying customers so badly. now, mr Manager/Owner, they haven't seen my money in their rest. N.B: eating was good..so my review is for the service and all to poorly hire the staff.
Large device. great music. great staff. fresh calamari. fresh garnels. the pulled pork sandwich was great. all have really enjoyed their eating! we also really enjoyed the music that ages the mass...luckily, we had some great music from the 70s-80s and so we sang along to...a lot only 5 minutes to foot from the subway station lurking direction east. definitiw a place to go back. also makes a great irrigation hole.
I mean, if their search for a nice place to eat and enjoy them with their friends it is great, drinks are delicious and big and eating is ok, ambiente is a lot of fun, it would not suggest for a romantic night or for business meetings. but together with friends, this place could work safely! but if they are looking for genuine, authentic Mexican food, I will tell them now that they will be disappointed! personally I found that it is far too expensive for the quality of food and service.
On a warm Sunday evening my husband and I chose this restaurant because of the funky and inviting atmospher. We arrived at 7:30. The waitress took our drinks and food order at 8PM. Drinks arrived at 8:30, beer was warm, the Margarita not great. Food...arrived at 8:45. We ordered guacamole (that we wanted with our drinks but it came with our meal), tacos and ceviche. Totally disappointed with the lack of flavour with everything we ordered. I would not recommend this place for their Mexican style food yet, a nice laid back place to stop in for drinks. As for the service, poor. The waitress took our order and she never returned to our table. Someone else brought the food and when it was time to leave, we got up and a different person handed us the bill. I truly do not understand how this place is getting good reviews. Price for this disappointment including tip, was $68.00 My rating is as follows: 5 star for decor and ambiance, 2 star for food, 1 star for service.
