Comptoir 21 Fish Chips - Montréal

Fish was great, perfectly crunchy on the outside and most inside. But the poutine side was terrible. Fries were okay, but gravy was too thick and curds were ice cold

I had a wonderful experience here. When I arrived, the supplies were just coming in, so the guy (cook and server) was very busy, and informed me my order could be a bit delayed. I had a lot of time in hand, so it wasn't a problem. I ordered the fish burger and the fried calamari. They have a large selection of seafood and choice of 4-5 different sauces. The burger was pretty large. The guy apologized because the fish fry in the burger had broken off a bit. He also apologized for having me wait and gave me a large fish fry for free. Their tartare sauce was very tasty. It was my first time having calamari, and it was pretty good. Would definitely come back here if I get the opportunity.

Decent fish and chips, but my bf and I have had better. The service is very friendly! They speak perfect English.

The food was good, a little more on the grassy side. For sure it is not the best fish chip that I ever ate.

The freshest cod in a light beer batter, very reasonable prices, and now more tables to sit at since their renovations on early 2018. What is there not to like? It remains deep fried food, but if you are going to give up on the excellent fries and get a salad instead, you won't even feel guilty!
