Bidra med feedbackWhile exploring the city, we were in search of a coffee and stumbled upon this charming café with a distinctive local vibe. Any place where I can enjoy a good espresso and relax in comfort for a few moments is truly a happy place for me.
This quickly became my favorite spot to go and hang out, study, and work. The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is lovely, and every dish I've tried has been fantastic (especially the spicy daal chutney toast and the Thai prawn salad of the day - so delicious!). I only had tea and filter coffee, but they were also very good. The restaurant is a bit small, but I think that adds to its charm, as it never gets too crowded and always has a peaceful atmosphere.
I stopped by this restaurant on my way to Mont-Royal and had a delicious chaoksins! The service was very welcoming and helpful, and the barista was quick to acknowledge their lack of knowledge in sign language and made up for it. My only critique would be that I would have liked to see the exterior of the restaurant, which is a bit plain with its camp-like wall, enhanced. The outdoor seating area could use some plants or wall art to liven up their side of the street. However, overall, there are no complaints with the café.
Love the vibe of this place, it's so laid back. The coffee is top notch. Bold Italian or mild Hawaiian, whatever you crave. Nice baked treats as well. Nice decor with a zen south seas vibe. Unlike any other cafe in town, definitely worth adding...to your rotation.
Coffee, filter coffee of all things. absolutely the best we ever had! Coffee from Hawaii, offer food, pastries, a large seating area. Outdoor tables in summer. BIG CUPS! Worth the money. Amazing food! Such a good variety. And very friendly staff. Very well spoken... English also, good for us English speaking travelers! Would go back every day when I lived there.
