Buffet Chinois Fu-Lam - Montréal

Went to pick up food at Fu Lam Express in St. Leonard on May 25, 2023. Soup was so salty you could not eat it. Chicken wings were hard definitely not fresh. Am certain they were left from a previous time and then reheated. Same for egg rolls. Have been there before and this is the worst I have experienced.

Massive Chinese buffet with most everything possible including non-Asian dishes like pizza, roast beef and fries. There were also some mediocre sushi rolls. Nothing is terrible, but nothing is great either. Probably the best thing is the station making stir-fry’s to order. Service is impersonal and uneven, especially for a larger group as we were. Price is ok for the quantity and variety, though not necessarily for the quality.

The food was not prepared properly and had very little to no taste. They used to serve very good food that was fresh and very tasty but now I would definitely stay away from this restaurant. Price wise also very expensive for this type of buffet.

As you are entering the restaurant you are greeted at the door with a smile and are seated at a table. Server asked if I would like something from the menu, I order a rum and coke. I check out the buffet, started off with the Won Ton soup. DELICIOUS! Server comes by and gives me water and clears my dishes with a smile. Go back to the buffet-roast beef, shrimps,spare ribs,pizza,onion rings,mixed vegetables and so much more. At the back of the buffet there is a small area where there is a cook whipping up your food-which you had selected before on the counter. There is a fruit section,cakes, and last but not least ICE CREAM !!!! Once again the service from the staff was friendly and efficient. Lots of parking. Washrooms are clean. High chairs for children.

The service is very bad, the food is very basic, no flavour. They where very rude. A waiter was asking for more tip and was cursing to me. Woulndt come back.
