Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant was recommended by a colleague who went to university in montpellier. I have instructed them for a reservation, but the call did not go through (some signs! . Anyway, after going to the address, I found an insurance instead of la tulipe
My wife and I ate here shortly before Christmas, the restaurant was over the tram and runs from our hotel. When we arrived there, we were kindly greeted by the only man who served, he had no help but very well copied....It was wonderful to eat, they describe it as a kitchen francaise raffinee, refined French cuisine. the prices for a certain meal are very reasonable, the menu is short, but it seems that all that they order will be good, it will certainly surpass our expectations. sometimes the best French cuisine is on small places in the streets away from the tourist areas, the other diners were all French and some seem to be regular. try this restaurant that they are not disapointed.
As the other reviewers say, this small place easily removed from the main tourist area of the city has good typical food to reasonable trips. the atmosphere is cozy, the surrounding music well chosen, and the staff very friendly and attentive: they immediately open. English, when they realized that I don't speak French well. I had terrine de fois gras with roasted brot and fig jam as an appetizer (amuse,) steaktare with oriental dressing (very good if the side potatoes were delicious but not crispy) and made to home mandarin ice cream (delicious). 30 euro for the whole menu.
This restaurant came highly recommended by a colleague who went to university in Montpellier. I rang them for a reservation, but the call didn't go through (ominous sign!). Anyway, after walking to the address, I found an insurance company instead of la tulipe
My wife and I ate here just before Christmas, the restaurant was across the tram and rail tracks from our hotel. Once we arrived there we were greeted in a friendly manner by the only man serving, he had no help but coped very well. The food was wonderful, they describe it as cuisine Francaise raffinee, refined French cooking. The prices for a set meal are very reasonable, the menu is short but it seems that whatever you order will be good, it certainly exceeded our expectations. Sometimes the best French cooking is done in small places in streets away from tourist areas, the other diners were all French and some seem to be regular. Try this restaurant you will not be disapointed.
