Bistrot Saint-jean - Montluçon

We sat outside and had an first class dinner from the set menu . Everything was cooked to perfection and service was exceptional

During a stopover we enjoyed the Bistro early August 2020, 1 x lunch and 2xdinner. The menu was nice, the dishes prepared perfectly, the recommended (local) wine was good and very reasonable as to pricing, and the service was simply superb very friendly, attentive and even dog friendly. All in all, we had 3 wonderful stays at the Bistrot and therefore thanks to kitchen service staff!

Bistrot Saint-Jean is next to a serious, Michelin-starred restaurant in a Relais Chateau so there is a real mission to be casual yet maintain unusually high gastronomic standards. This is achieved with serious professional staff that made my dinner at the Bistro a discovery. Light but serious service achieved the casual aim, but the kitchen ensured that the actual food caught your attention first, then engaged your imagination. As a serious food person in the profession I know how hard it is to deliver what I got and I whole-heartedly recommend this restaurant for dinner. The location and terrace makes this a welcome lunch option as well, I would think.

Hotel breakfast room and restaurant. dishes are made on request. very good cuisine and a pleasant and welcoming service.

In a very pleasant setting, a little peat! reception and service are efficient, very friendly and meet the wishes of the customer. the dishes presented on the menu are original and prepared with the master's hand, everything is delicious. Don't hesitate if you pass by Montlucon.
