Bidra med feedbackGreat food, great service! Must stop place!! It's now a required stop for us when we pass by headed to vacation, and we've lived all the food we've gotten there(including desserts to go). Just wish we lived closer to it.
I've honestly never been, and was I delightfully surprised. I had the fried quail, with cheese grits and it was perfect for a light Saturday brunch. Also has a nice **** Mary, it was well made, but not anything super special, but it really doesn'thave to be. Great service, with friendly helpful staff, and I hope you get the chance to visit. I've always thought the deliitself was so overgrown feeling outside that it can be difficult to even see is location if you didn't know it existed.
No idea why rating is so high. Maybe we hit on an off day. Cheese grits were REALLY salty. Western omelet was very watery from veggies, sweating rather than sautéing causes this. Toast hard? How? And seriously, what sausage brand? It tastes likeChloraseptic. I'm sorry owners. Came here because the menu was a great concept, but the execution today was way off.
Another first for my month-long stay in The Gump. The portions are sufficient and everything tasted as if made with fresh ingredients. The home fries were the stars of the show and I recommend offering a Cajun Omelette... Western with thestew-textured Gumbo spooned over... good coffee and orange juice. We waited more than we ate though. Waited for menus(eventually taken from other tables , waited for coffee creamer (asked twice, got some from other tables , waited for silverware(coffee cooled , waited for food (to be fair, they were at about 75% , waited for toast (never came , waited for coffee refills(caught another server, meal almost finished , waited to see if we would be offered any dessert or anything else (it is abakery , waited for a to-go box (asked twice, got it myself . The check was dropped off with the food... no wait... and thatwas our server's last stop. Having interacted with all three, wait staff is very nice and reasonably responsive but appear abit forgetful. Energetic and efficient service would make this place great. All said, we did have plenty time to chat and foodwas good, but service was an uninspiring drag on the experience. #FirstAndLast
Boutique café in the middle of montgomery. the gigantic culinary experience. the menu is short, but well thought out. we tried a deconstructed western omelet from protein. the egg benedikt with a pancake side. the grotten were creamy. the food was tasty and correspondingly portioned. food: 4/5
