Amor De Mar - Montezuma

Came to the breakfast here. eating was fresh, coffee excellent and service was friendly and made them feel like home.

I took a shot in the dark with this one but was intrigued by their back story of a family on vacation who were inspired by its beauty and decided to buy this hotel. It is absolutely lovely! I loved thier breakfast with housemade bread, endless amounts of fresh Pineapple, papaya and watermelon and the Coffee YUM! All while facing the waterfront with tide pools and the sounds of the waves. The grounds of the hotel were idyllic with 40ft Mango trees, Tropical flowers and very well maintained grassy areas perfect for lounging. My room was great. The AC did wonders to quickly cool the temp. Also bathroom was very cute and stayed cooled with stone tiling. I definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

This breakfast spot is charming and inviting. During our first visit, we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our food as there was a group who had just finished their yoga class at the hotel and were ahead of us in line. However, we were advised to visit during off-peak hours to fully appreciate the serene setting.

We had a fantastic experience at Amor de Mar and it was absolutely wonderful. Corina, Stephanie, Ori, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make this beautiful and unique place even more special. All 30 of our guests who stayed at the hotel couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it: from the ceremony setting, to the local band, to the delicious breakfast in the morning, to swimming in the pool and waterfall. After backpacking through Costa Rica in 2018, we chose to have our special event at Amor de Mar because it was our favorite place we stayed. You can't find this kind of unique beauty and good vibes just anywhere. This hotel is a gem and we are so happy we chose to have our event there. Thank you!

This is one of the best places I have ever visited. The view from the lookout is amazing and the service is even better. The staff is very caring and they feel like a family. The food, juices, staff, and the charming Casa Luna room were all fantastic. We stayed for a few days and every moment was magical from start to finish.
