Casa linda! Uma pena a limpeza organização do local. Algumas instalações como chuveiro, iluminação, aquecedor, não funcionavam adequadamente. Você fica bem a vontade! Não tem recepção. Pra quem tem sono leve ou se importa com barulho, não é recomendado. O bar fica embaixo, então parece que tem uma galera dentro do seu quarto. Está localizado no bairro dos bares! Tem um a cada esquina.

I stayed here for one week as a volunteer and it was a very uncomfortable experience. At first the owner, Matheus, was very welcoming and nice however after two days he became very mean and ill mannered. He made me feel very excluded during communal times and didn’t even say good morning when I entered the room. If you’re going as a guest you might like it if you’re into the same vibe the owner is, however if you are a female, moreover, wanting to volunteer, he will try his charms on you and once you “reject” him, a very dark ugly side comes out. This is my personal experience but I recently moved to another hostel and I met a girl who had the exact same experience. She also mentioned that another girl had the same experience too. However I must be objective and say that Matheus did his best to make SOME of the guests feel welcome and he even went out of his way to walk them to the bus stop. However I must also say there is only one toilet and the whole hostel is extremely cold. There are no heaters in the rooms and the kitchen is small. Also the communal space has weird energy and it can sometimes be toxic. I’m fact the entire hostel has that energy. But after a week of housekeeping Matheus fired me for “not doing my chores correctly and eating all the breakfast.”

We booked a reservation with this people about a month ago before trip. When we arrived to the place late night the person who received us there created a WHOLE FALSE STORY telling us we canceled reservation, even we showing him that reservation still were active in booking he kept lying about that and that he wasnt able to give us a place... This makes us to have a really bad night because there werent more option around, so we stayed around 3 hours looking for another place until finally we got an hostel that offered us less bed but the option to stay there. First time that something like this happend to any on the group, hostel usually have a good vibes but this one wasnt the case. So bad for this. NOT RECOMMEND

Mi hermana y yo habíamos alquilado durante 2 noches, dos camas aquí con el fin de utilizar solo el baño debido a que en el apto que alquilamos -aquí en Montevideo- tuvieron que hacer de urgencia el baño y rentar aquí fue la solución que encontramos. Este inconveniente se lo informamos al host, Matheus, en cuanto llegamos. Él nos hizo sentar en el living con los bolsos (raro porque esperábamos que nos llevara a las habitaciones a dejar las cosas primero), le comentamos esto y pareció entenderlo. Entonces mi hermana y yo, nos dirigimos a bañarnos cada una en un baño. Cuando salimos del baño, nos lleva al cuarto y de nuevo tuve que explicarle todo lo anterior. Entonces su cara y su actitud cambiaron drásticamente. Su poca y buena predisposición se esfumaron y cuando nos estaba acompañando hasta la puerta a abrirnos nos sugirió cancelar la siguiente noche. Creemos que se lo tomó personal y se ofendió cuando no fue así, ni lo conocíamos a él. Cuando llegamos a nuestro apto obviamente cancelamos la siguiente noche porque no nos sentíamos cómodas ir al siguiente día a un lugar al cual no nos querían. Luego leyendo las reviews que hay acá en Google nos aclaró bastante el asunto y reconfirmó mis sospechas. Al ser mi hermana y yo (mujeres) las que fuimos, el nos vió como algo para chamuyarse/levantarse y todo venía relativamente bien hasta que desde nuestro lado hubo una respuesta negativa. No aconsejo a que nadie vaya menos mujeres. Lo poco que vimos de los cuartos, no estaban muy limpios los colchones.
