Bidra med feedbackOn our way to Alba, we stopped at this amazing Trattoria with some friends who knew about the place. We had an amazing meal. The cruda meat for antipasti with some marinated pepper and anchovies. The ravioli with a sage and butter sauce where the best we have had in the past 4 months we have spent in Italy. Then the desserts were all home made: Tiramisu, Pudding, Pineapple pie... We will go again!!!
We were surprised to find Jose's restaurant in the guide that describes places to eat at Langhe region. So lucky to have found this place! This simple, family run business is exactly what you are looking for when touring Italian countryside. The dishes are simple, but everything is homemade and full of flavour. The dinner was 25€ per person and included seven courses and drinks, coffee and dessert. Selection of antipasti was amazing, but wait for the homemade tajarin, thin long pasta with ragu sauce, that is the speciality of the house (and of the region too). Would definitely recommend.
Il ristorante è pulito e accogliente. Il proprietario è molto disponibile e competente, così come tutto il personale, preciso e attento al servizio. La carta dei vini è ottima, con un menu ricco e materie prime di alta qualità. Lo consiglio vivamente.
