The Trident Room - Monterey

There were challenges as a large party came in. The waitresses and staff were gracious and worked diligently to serve all patrons as quickly as possible. Prices are great and the food was good.

An excellent bar to relax after a hard day's work or study. The staffs are friendly,and helpful. The menu delicious and the atmosphere warm and friendly.

We spent a few days on base but assumed the food here wouldn't be great so we just stopped in for a beer. On the last night we decided to try the food because we were too tired to go anywhere. Honestly, it's some of the better foods we've had while in Monterey! Try the salmon! It's fresh, cooked amazing and the bur blanc is addicting.Go for the Navy history, decor and beer.. But eat while you're there.

Charged $20 corkage fee to share a drink with a longtime friend. Worth it (and then some... a good friend), but seems unkind.

Thursday happy hour is the perfect time to visit. You'll encounter a lively group of Dungeons & Dragons enthusiasts embarking on epic adventures. The food is of a higher quality than typical pub fare, and they usually offer one or two local beers on tap, but it's credit card only. It's still a fantastic spot to unwind with a classmate or professor.
