Pizza My Heart - Monterey

Like the cheese and the vegan meat. so delicious. jsut a scandal that they sold out the vegan pizza through the disc before I could get a third disc!

They offer 2 vegan pizzas on the menu or you can build your own. They use Miyoko's, which is my favorite. They recently added Beyond Sausage and Impossible Pepperoni as toppings. They have a good selection of craft beer and beverages as well. Can get busy on the weekends. Updated from previous review on 2020-07-02

They use Miyoko cheese and vegan meats! It's hard to find good vegan pizza in Monterey County other than Blaze. But this place far beats out Blaze's pizza. The pizza is dense, filling and so tasty! Def my fav pizza so far. Plus they're local!

We've been going on pizza for many years. Our first trip was when we visited Capitola and ordered discs from the stand. Now that we eat vegetarian diet, they have great options, including vegan cheese. We can hardly say the difference between this and a regular cheese pizza. You have a New York pizza with large thin slices. On this trip we ordered a pepperoni pizza to return for our son. If you love New York style thin crust pizza, you will love pizza my heart. As a bonus they have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine!

We arrived late in Monterey, so most restaurants were closed. That was why we chose this pizza place, but our four-point was pretty good! I liked the crispy and crispy crust.
