Bidra med feedbackOrdered today by doordash and made sure that the articles are read because it went to someone with a nut allergy. when it arrived, the Açaí Shot had a quantity not listed in it. it had mandled, it had rusted, we had to eat it because of food allergies, because they added a bundle of things that were not listed or asked. doordash is not cheap and that was a huge waste of money
Oh boy, this place was hot inside. We came in and we're immediately helped. I'm very indecisive seeing all the options before me, but the staff allowed me to browse their very extensive menu from the handout I received plus the iPad which showed their IG page filled with plenty of photos from their creations. Typically, I came for a basic fruit bowl, but ended up ordering a Bionico which consisted of cantaloupe, bananas, strawberries, and apples. It was topped with pecans and granola consisting of almonds then drenched in crema. We also ordered a few churros to snack on in the car. They do take card as an FYI. Our order came to around 14 which is a great price for the amount we got! Unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention and am allergic to nuts, so I politely asked if my bowl could be remade. The lady who helped us obliged and my boyfriend ate my original bowl so there would be no food waste. I felt bad, but I greatly appreciate the concern and kindness express by the woman assisting us. I do recommend this place because my area does not have much variety with snacks or desserts for takeout. If you found this place, it's a gem. Maybe look at the menu beforehand if you're like me and enjoy customizing everything you eat without feeling pressure to order right away. I definitely will try their mangonadas or tostilocos next time.
I went here with my sister several weeks ago and the service was really bad. For the customers that knew a little bit of Spanish were treated better than we were. We stood there for 10 minutes waiting to order and they decided to work on over the phone orders or people who bought a bag of chips. When we finally ordered, I asked for the fresh strawberry acai bowl with some watermelon in it and they got super confused and annoyed with us. This order wasn't complex. The lady gave us bad vibes and I personally think it was because we didn't know Spanish due to when we saw her interactions with other customers. I liked the acai bowl and so did my sister, but the service was uncomfortable and unsettling. I don't think we'll be back until they know how to respect people of different backgrounds. ??
We discovered this spot right before heading back to Palo Alto, from a weekend escape to Monteray area. This is by far the best Mexican fruit shop I have ever tired. Their menu is full of sweet and sour flavors and so many beautiful colors. The crepes are super good, but Spicy Cheetos with cheese bowl, Fresas con cream, and their chopped mango with the tameren sauce was fantastic. Highly recommend place to all fruit lovers.
Had a Churro Sunday with two scoops of ice cream. Delicious. Will definitely come back for round two.
