Bidra med feedbackBeautiful decor and dining room. Friendly service. Delicious food with good wok-hei. The potstickers have thin packing filled with juicy pig filling. Chef Lee?s roasted rice (combo meat) has the essential wok hei. Walnut shrimp is jumbo size.
The food was hot, fresh and tasty and portions large. Saucy. I had to ask Klinken, who I would never have done in a Chinese restaurant. The service was a little slow, but it was a late dinner, so I will forgive the restaurant to have only one server with commands. While some parts of the restaurant were likely to use some updates (e.g. the toilets were relatively clean, though beaten from years of use), the dining area was good and I appreciated the ceiling art.
The first time there in 3-4 years. Beautiful location, large parking lot. The food was good, but not as good as we remember. Service was fine, no complaints about it. Try again soon as perhaps only one night for the cook(s).
Chef Lee's Monterey has been the first Chinese restaurant in the peninsula for over 50 years. The service is great. The food is made fast, served hot, full of taste and delicious. Thank you for hosting our family celebrations from baptisms, wedding rehearsal dinner, birthdays and celebrations of the Life Luncheons. The staff is always hard to work, gracious and very accentuating. Thanks for being my cook when I'm so busy and not feeling like cooking. I can relax and have a great meal.
Food was good; ingredients tasted fresh and sauces were tasty. The restaurant itself could use some maintenance, and our waitress was not very attentive so our service was below average.
