Bidra med feedbackUnfortunately, I came to this place a second time because of the outstanding food and hospitality we received the 1st time. This could not be repeated when we returned. The service was cold. They charged me 30 euro for the menu degustazione with warm food and I only got the charcuterie and cheese board and a vegetable dish. This is 1/3 of the food they gave us last year. Even the charcuterie and cheese board didn’t have much. Very basic. Not worth 30 euro. The waiter didn’t present the food and wine. Just landed it on our table and left. Not sure I will give them a 3rd chance. Too bad!
We were a small party and wanted only to try the famous Est! Est!! Est!!! wine at lunch. The price of the local delicacies is exaggerated (25 euros for two persons for a little biit of ham and some cheese), compared to what you can find in local shops. We settled on some wine and chips and olives, not to drink with empty bellies. The wine arrived pretty quickly but we never saw the olives and chips. The two waitresses were not enthusiast to do their job and you could see it clearly. Also, the famous wine was ok, but not that excellent.
Letizia and the rest of the employees at Enoteca Proviciale Tuscia made our pre wedding dinner absolutely amazing! The food, the wine and the view was absolutely amazing and of high quality! We have come here often for an espresso and for dinner.. The location and quality of the kitchen makes it perfect either it is just for a quick coffee, dinner for two or in this case: a dinner for 60 people. I will highly recommend this place! They often also have live music.
This Enoteca is a lovely place to visit for a nice aperitivo, where you get to taste a great locally grown and produced wine (the famous Est! Est! Est! as you look out at the beautiful Lake Bolsena as the sun is setting. Extremely fair prices as a glass of their white was just €3 a glass. The two ladies that were managing the place were very sweet and caring and even brought us a shawl to combat the colder temperature as the sun set over the lake. Highly recommended.
When we (8 ladies) arrived (late for our booking) nothing was set up which worried us, but soon learnt it was just the Italian relaxed attitude. The ladies set up a large table out on the terrace for us as we requested. They bought out what seemed like endless plates of tapas to try and we tried 4 different varieties of wine. They didn’t speak much English and our Italian left a lot to be desired but we all muddled in and had a laugh about it. When we tried to tip they sent us on our way with a bottle of wine in hand. The views from the terrace are definitely worth the upward climb!
