We say that the 3 stars are for the particularity of the local because the food is from 1 star perhaps (to eat on the grill). the flesh not of the day. the bread smelled of mold. sliced of the appetizer not very fresh). It is a shame that they do not have this attention to food because it could deserve much more.

Yesterday, with two dear friends, we had lunch from the verziere, restaurant of montefalco. very characteristic place, tables also outdoors. the beautiful valley filled our eyes with beauty while the excellent cook allowed us to enjoy the goodness of food at every reach, accompanied by excellent wine. all dishes represented the excellent result of originality, research, culinary wisdom and rigor in the choice of the most genuine and respectful ingredients of the Umbrian tradition. the owners, wise hosts, have been able to advise us with grace and sympathy, demonstrating to know well the importance of the warm, albeit discreet welcome. In summary, a beautiful day to be preserved among the most pleasant memories. and to relive also because montefalco is a dream. I add that what we asked was more than honest
