Bidra med feedbackThe environment is very pleasant the staff always present and kind. You eat the real Sardinian cuisine with Sardinian products, a real experience I recommend.
I mean, I was expecting more. Nice place, an old farmhouse, the kind staff doing his job. First thing to say, one of the typical dishes of Sardinia and present in the menu is the piglet, but you must take at least half on reservation of the day before . Now I ask, can't you prepare it anyway is to give it to customers even in single portions? If you go in two or three he can't eat it! Half 90 € full 180 €. The cost is the amount for two people become excessive. Sardinian mixed appetizers? mandatory 2 servings. The dried tomatoes, olives and eggplants are not ONLY of Sardinia. If the portion you bring is for 2 then leave even slices! And above all, maybe cut a bit thicker the meats you can taste better those 3 slices of bacon, and the other thing that nobody said what they were. Good salmon 4 slices, excellent ricotta with honey. it scarce the quantities for two people broken of sheep a little too cooked and too dry and for me without particular flavors. Ribbed lamb with pecorino cheese in the pan too pecorino that h covered all and too cooked. account for good food quality
We have visited the place more than a few times now and we would still continue to come back. The food is amazing and the portions generous. We really enjoy the atmosphere of the place and the surroundings. Lets say that the customer service is not always a spot on but that is understandable considering the fact it is not many of them that work inside and there is always a bit of confusion. Still recommended for both couples and friends/family gathering.
The food would nice, but the service is very bad. Except for their friends .... if you are not no way! We left our dishes quite full and they didn't ask why! There are better alternatives in Parma. And I suggest them to smile to everybody.
If you 're in Parma don 't forget to try a bit of the tradition of Sardinia cuisine at theCasale Mariposa (Butterfly); it 's one of my favourite choice for a simple and nice family dinner. If you go,don 't forget the mixed appetizers, with the light and perfumed lettuce with honey and cheese, the mix of seasoned vegetables, the old pecorino cheese, the celery with bottarga and so on. All of the pasta dishes are tasty and interesting; meats are particular: sheep, lamb...If you like light and sparkling wine I suggest the Balari vermentino, it 's worth a try. Simple and clean place, with enough space between tables with wide b/w photographs of old sardinian scenes at the walls.
