La Marescialla - MONTEBELLO VICENTINO

The food the service at this restaurant is superb. We had a great meal.

La Marescialla is easy to find if you use Google Maps, and who doesn't use Google Maps? It's an out of the way spot that is well known for their fish menu. It's also good for meat dishes and risotto, but their pièce de résistance is fish. The fish is fresh and tasty. and so are the desserts. The service is good, if the music isn't to your liking you can ask them to turn it down or change channel. The wine list is quite good, as you are in the middle of wine country. Selva di Montebello Vicentino has quite a few wineries, with Menti Winery winning prizes each year for their wines. Wine certification falls into three categories of decreasing strictness: DOCG, DOC, and IGT. Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG): Seeing this on the label of your wine bottle means that the wine producers followed the strictest regulations possible to make that wine. So enjoy, but be careful driving home, Italy has NO TOLERENCE for those who drink and drive.

I just went over there through a business lunch and i have to say the place is certainly a very good one but the reason i'm addressing it as average is due to the quantity of butter in the risotto...which was based on fish taste the starter was very good and the fish was really fresh very good choices of wines... finally, i think it deserves another visit in order to get a much positive idea
