Ti Raquel - MONTE DE S JOSE

Visited as recommended with our local resident friend. Traditional Portuguese, very relaxed, good service, great food, nice desserts too. I had the black pig crawfish, the local pork, very tasty, also tried the veal chops. The salmon was great portion also, nice salads, all good.

Visited late one Tuesday evening. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of regional food . We had an enjoyable meal, although the place was quiet, I could imagine it has a good atmosphere when busy. Its not the easiest place to find, head towards Algoz when leaving Messines, its on the left plenty of parking. Give it a go if nearby.

Ti Raquel has new owners, Alberto and Christina, and we are so happy with them that we return regularly. Not only the service, also quality has improved. During week days, for lunch, there are 4 different choises for the all included menu of 11 . It's also possible to eat à la carte and the prices are reasonable as well. On commend, suckling pig is available. The restaurant is easy to find. Coming from the center of Messines (passing the railway and Firemen station), take direction Algoz and about 1 km further, it's on the right side. Wednesday is deserved free day for the staff to restart with enthousiasm and good mood on Thursday.

Boa comida, saborosa e bem confecionada, atendimento agradável, mas um pouco demorafo e sobremesas deliciosas.

Excelente espaco, em especial um pequeno espaco para deixar as criancas a brincar, preços acessiveis, comida é o normal de qualquer restaurante mas bem confecionadas, atendimente bastante bom.
