Tropical Hut - Montalban

What I love at Tropical Hut are spaghetti, black gulaman float clubhouse sandwich.

Bata pa lang ako Tropical Hut na to and am glad na andyan pa din sila dahil masarap ang food dito! Super nakakabusog sya. Mahal ordered the Spring Chicken and syempre tinikman ko din. Yung fried chicken na walang arte, lasanag lutong bahay. Yet super tasty. Tustado sya kaya medyo dry pero that is how I like my fried chicken kaya nagustuhan ko. I ordered the Big Shot Breakfast and omg the garlic rice is superb! Lasang lutong bahay. The burger steak is yummy din. The omelet has lots of meat inside. Yung lumpiang shanghai is ok lang ang taste for me, could use some improvement. Super nabusog kami and we will be back for more para tikman naman ang iba na matagal ko ng di nakain or di ko pa talaga natitikman.

This restaurant is so underrated yet so good! Their chicken is huge and affordable! Their macaroni is a must try! Even though I don’t go here a lot, I would definitely choose this over other fast food restaurants

Hungry in the middle of the night? This is the place to go to since it is 24 hours. Food is close to home cooking except for serving size but big enough for a fast food serving. This is the place for anytime daing na bangus that is affordable. I like their corned beef breakfast because it is made with real beef and not the cereal loaded corned beef . I am not a soup person but when I am sick, I crave for some to make me feel better and there are only 2 restos that help me heal. French Baker 's soup in a bread bowl and Tropical Hut 's chicken sopas. Well, I also order a hamburger meal breakfast on the side.

This might be a biased review as I have sentiments about this Tropical Hut because it is one if my childhood restaurants. Their place has been renovated since I was a kid; however, I am not a fan of the yellow color which made it seem a bit cheaper. Though the place is clean and updated. The servers were all accommodating and attentive when needed to. As for the food, I thought the taste generally remained the same snd I like it. Their chicken is crispy and delicious while soft and juicy in the inside. The gravy accompaniment is really good too. The spaghetti is good too as it was sweet, just as I would expect with a Filipino spaghetti. The macaroni salad was good but I prefer having it with a bit of condensed milk to balance the mayonnaise, but then again this is the norm for it in fast food chains. Last is their clubhouse sandwich which was my favorite when I was a kid. I preferred it over burgers because it was more filling. I love the layers of ham and eggs and other components which I though was well balanced. And the bread toasted just a bit for texture. Basically, I like their food.
